CMC was founded in 1979, by Patricia S. Plouffe, in response to the need for career counseling in the central Massachusetts business community.  Since that time we have worked with high tech companies, banks and other financial institutions, manufacturers, medical/health care organizations, as well as with non-profit and educational/training centers throughout the United States.

Whether working with individuals or groups we focus our attention on providing solutions to confusion, obstacles and problems. Our emphasis is on care and concern when helping individuals learn how to maximize their options.
Our consultants have earned advanced degrees in counseling and management and have years of employment in numerous environments, as management counselors, trainers, and/or educational specialists. In addition, more than 90% of our business comes from referrals by our clients. We have earned a solid reputation for excellence in training, development, mentoring, and counseling.
